Lifetime Care & Warranty

At Grew & Co, we take pride in our craftsmanship and stand by the quality of our fine jewellery. Our lifetime warranty applies for the wearable life of the product and covers any craftsmanship or manufacturing defects that may arise with normal wear, ensuring your piece is made to last when properly cared for.

However, our warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, improper care, impact-related damage, or excessive wear beyond normal use. Any repairs or modifications performed by a jeweller other than Grew & Co will void the warranty.

Complimentary Aftercare Services

We also offer complimentary aftercare services to help maintain the beauty and integrity of your piece over time:

  • Clean, Assessment & Polish – A professional clean, inspection, and polish to ensure stones and settings remain secure (recommended every 6 months).
  • Rhodium Plating – Complimentary every 24 months for the wearable life of the product to restore the bright white finish of white gold pieces.
  • Refinishing – A full polish and reapplication of any surface finishes, available once every 12 months.
  • Resizing – Your first resize is free within the first 6 months of wear.

If you have any concerns about your piece, we’re happy to assess it for you.

Stone Care & Replacement

At Grew & Co, we take great care in sourcing the finest quality stones for our jewellery. Each stone has unique characteristics; its longevity depends on proper care and wear. While our lifetime warranty covers craftsmanship and the precious metal components of your piece, it does not extend to stones, as their condition relies on ongoing care to maintain their original integrity.

We strongly recommend a third-party insurance policy for all engagement rings and products over $1,000 AUD. Your insurance should cover loss, theft, and damage of diamonds and gemstones.

Caring for Your Stones

Regular cleaning is essential to keep your stones secure and maintain the beauty of your piece. Dirt and residue can weaken settings over time, increasing the risk of stones becoming loose. Our consultants will guide you on the best care routine for your specific design and gemstones during your purchase. We’re always here to answer any questions and help you care for your jewellery for years to come.

To maintain the integrity of your jewellery, we recommend a professional inspection every 6 months to ensure that settings remain secure and to help prevent potential stone loss. Our team is always available to assist with cleaning, assessments, and any concerns you may have.

Stone Assessments & Replacement

If you notice a loose stone, experience a significant impact on your piece, or find that a shoulder or accent stone is missing, please stop wearing the piece immediately and bring it in for assessment. For our international clients, we are available virtually or via email to assess the piece and guide you through the next steps.

  • Shoulder & Accent Stones: Replacement or repair is at the discretion of the company.

Warranty applies only to manufacturing faults and does not cover:

  • Normal wear of the setting or mount.
  • Stone breakage due to impact or improper care.
  • Replacement or repair is at the discretion of the company.
  • Centre stones are not covered under our warranty. To protect your piece, we strongly recommend insuring your centre stone separately.

Insurance Recommendations

The warranty does not apply to centre stones. We strongly recommend a third-party insurance policy for all engagement rings and products over $1,000 AUD. Your insurance should cover loss, theft, and damage of diamonds and gemstones.

For specialised jewellery insurance, we recommend:
Q Report Jewellery Insurance, which offers comprehensive coverage tailored to fine jewellery.

  • Please note that if a piece is beyond repair, we are unable to offer store credit or a replacement.

Appraisals

  • We offer appraisals only on Grew & Co products for insurance purposes.

  • Appraisal validity is dependent on the insurance provider’s policy—policyholders should refer to their insurer’s terms and conditions.
